Військово-повітряні сили США протестували експериментальних роботів-собак Q-UGV (Vision 60) від компанії Ghost Robotics. Про це повідомляє CNN.

Q-UGV випробували на авіабазі Нелліс в штаті Невада. Чотириногих роботів-собак використовували в якості розвідників, а також для охорони і патрулювання зон авіабази.

В цілому роботи мають великий спектр застосування, аж до роботи в штурмовій групі. Вони можуть функціонувати як в режимі телеуправління, так і автономно.

Vision 60 оснащені тепловізорами, датчиками руху, високочутливими PTZ-камерами теплового і видимого випромінювання, а конструкція ніг дає перевагу в маневреності і легкості (плюс у виявленні міна).
